1. About us

2. Using our website

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to place an order. You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in an unauthorised way.

3. Products, descriptions and pricing

• We take care to describe and picture our products accurately, but slight variations in colour and finish are normal for handcrafted and metal items.
• Prices are shown on the product pages. Currencies other than USD are shown for convenience using indicative exchange rates; the charge currency is confirmed at checkout.
• We may change prices and product availability at any time. If we discover an obvious pricing error after you order, we will contact you before proceeding.

4. Your order and how a contract is formed

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We will send an order confirmation acknowledging receipt. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of your item(s). If we cannot fulfil an order, we will let you know and refund any payment taken.

5. Payment

When checkout is available, payment is taken through our payment provider using secure, industry-standard processing. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

6. Delivery

We offer free global shipping. Delivery times, tracking and customs information are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Returns, the home trial and your right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason. 8. Warranty and your legal rights

Our products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty; the length varies by product and is stated on the relevant product page. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer, including the EU legal guarantee that goods must conform to the contract for at least two years from delivery.

9. Reviews and content you submit

If you submit a review, photo or other content, you confirm it is your own and accurate, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it in connection with our products. We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, misleading or offensive.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including the GINSEI name and logo, text, images and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy or reuse it without our permission.

11. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to your mandatory consumer rights, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [the EU member state in which GINSEI is established], without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which you live. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts, and as a consumer you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
